Kenneth Clifford Tinsley November 29, 1946 – July 8, 2025

Kenneth Clifford Tinsley passed away on July 8, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mattie Bell Tinsley.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy Tinsley; his brother, Jack Tinsley, and sister-in-law, Barbara Tinsley; his sister, Connie Cofield, and brother-in-law, Wayne Cofield. Kenneth was a proud father to Ginger Pigg and her husband Dennis, Todd Tinsley, and Jeff Tinsley and his wife Andrea. He was a beloved grandfather to Alex and Mary Hannah Pigg, Taylor Pigg and her fiancé Thomas Buckley, Aiden Tinsley, Adyline Tinsley, and Andrew James Tinsley. He is also survived by many other cherished family members and friends.

Kenneth honorably served as a military police officer in the United States Army. He was ordained as a deacon at GlenHaven Baptist Church in Decatur, GA, where he faithfully served for many years. He later continued his service as a deacon at Sunrise Baptist Church and remained actively involved in the church community. In his later years, Kenneth made his home in Lawrenceville, GA, where he was a dedicated member of Crossroads Baptist Church. He found great joy in singing, fishing, and above all, loving his family deeply. Kenneth lived with unwavering faith in God and fought bravely until the end. His life was a testimony of strength, service, and steadfast love.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 14th, 2025 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home from 1:00pm-2:00pm.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home at 2:00pm with interment following at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
