Kaylee "Tobi" Hyde

–

Cumming, Georgia

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kaylee “Tobi” Ann Hyde on May 9, 2025, at the age of 18, following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Tobi was born on January 7, 2007, to parents Lee and Joy Hyde.

Tobi is lovingly remembered by his father, Legrand “Lee” Putnam Hyde IV; siblings Faith Proctor (Jason Rushing, Logan Greenberg, Taylor Rushing), Alex Hyde, Chase Elbert, and Selena “Riley” Proctor; grandparents Brenda Holcomb (Larry Holcomb), Mike Proctor (Betty Proctor), Ann Hyde, and Legrand Putnam Hyde III (Susan Hyde); and aunts and uncles Charity Samples, Michael Proctor, Phillip Proctor, and Ashley Proctor; cousin Kable Proctor.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Joy Hyde, and his aunt, Grace Proctor.

Though Tobi’s life was brief, his impact on those who knew him was profound. He faced each challenge with extraordinary courage, showing unwavering kindness even in his most difficult days. His battle-ready spirit and determination inspired everyone around him. Tobi’s warm smile could brighten any room, and his deep compassion for others never wavered.

May Tobi’s legacy of bravery, kindness, and strength continue to inspire all who knew and loved him as we celebrate the beautiful life he lived.

Visitation will be held on May 31, 2025, at McDonald & Son Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, with the service to follow at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be given to fight brain cancer in our young people: Choa - Aflac Blood and Cancer Center https://www.choa.org/medical-services/cancer-and-blood-disorders and the Pediatric Tumor Foundation https://curethekids.org/
