Kathy Perrigo

Kathy Ann Perrigo, age 65, of Cumming, GA passed away on September 19, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents: Eleanor and William Myers and her husband Terrance "Terry" Perrigo.

Kathy is survived by her sister: Marjorie (Christopher) Schuh of North Carolina: half-brother William (Denise) Myers of Nevada: half-sisters Lynn (Peter) Haase of Washington and Karen Olson of Oregon: nieces Jessica Johnson of North Carolina and Kristen (Thomas) Gridley of South Carolina; great-nieces Jaycee and Aryana Baker: and great-nephews Brycen and Connor Gridley

Kathy was born in Springville, NY. Soon after high school, Kathy moved to the south and never looked back. She was not a fan of cold weather or snow. Kathy moved to the Atlanta, GA area where she worked for her Aunt Marge bartending at Valentino's for many years. Other jobs Kathy had after bartending included working at a day care center and at a local mom and pop hardware store. The common element to Kathy's work history is her love of working with people. She honed her sense of humor while becoming an experienced unflappable bartender and continued to entertain friends and family throughout her life with her well timed quips and observations.

Kathy was a generous person always putting the needs of family and friends above her own. She was the type of person that you could go on adventures with, go on walks with, or just laze around with not having to talk, still feeling comfortable in silence.

Kathy loved animals of all kinds and took great pleasure in her cats Poker and Molly.

She will be greatly missed by all.
