Katherine Dykes Smith

Katherine Dykes Smith, 87, of Cumming, GA died at Northside Hospital Forsyth on March 28, 2014. Born in Heflin, AL she was the daughter of the late John and Hattie Lou Dykes. She is also predeceased by her beloved husband, James Sibley Smith, son, James Henry Smith and granddaughter, Janet Angela Nesbitt. Katherine is survived by her daughter, Joyce Smith Fisher of Cumming, GA; numerous nieces and nephews; and cherished friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 31, 2014 in the McDonald and Son Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 1 at the Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Jakin, GA. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 31 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
