Joyce Elyn Koenigsmark, 73, of Cumming, GA passed away on July 2, 2012. Born in Chicago, IL she is predeceased by her son, Joel Koenigsmark; parents, John and Elsie Sladek; brother, Leonard Sladek; brother-in-law, William Alroth; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and James O Guin; and sister-in-law, Rose Sladek. Mrs. Koenigsmark retired as a registered nurse. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Koenigsmark of Cumming, GA; son, Jeffrey (Tammy) Koenigsmark of Oakdale, MN; daughter, Joy (Doug) Varney of Aurora, IL; daughter, Jocelyn Crist of Cumming, GA; daughter, Joletta (Todd) Pekari of Cumming, GA; daughter, Janine (Louie) Flores-Arecco of Pleasant Prairie, WI; brother, John Sladek; brother, William (Bobbye) Sladek; grandchildren Jennifer, Jolene, Jeffrey, Joshua, Jestina, Aaron, Sara, Joel, DJ, Quintin, Teagan, Luchia, Ryan, Lauren, Alessandro; great-grandchildren Annaliese, Abagail, Lillian, Abel, Charlee, Elizabeth, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the McDonald & Son Chapel. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 4:00 PM. Dr. Bob Jolly will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation, in Joyce s name, to the American Cancer Society.
