Joseph Daniel Waller

Joseph Daniel Waller, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 24th, 2021, after a brief illness, at the age of 85.

A truly extraordinary life. A model for us all. The son of Bedford PA, Abe Benny and Helen Daniel; and brother of Thomas and John. Married for 61 years to the beautiful girl Connie Manock he met in high school.

An officer of the US Navy having once sung "Anchors Aweigh" solo on the Ed Sullivan show. An honors graduate and electrical engineer from Purdue University with a masters from New York University. A dedicated and exemplary employee for 30 years with Bell Labs.

The hero of three loving sons Mark Daniel, Kevin James, and Jeffrey Manock. A great blessing to his three daughter in-laws Jenni, Rhonda, Lilly and his 7 grandchildren.

A man of great honor, deep loyalty, pure kindness and extraordinary humility. Today is much darker without him, but everything and everyone he cared about is profoundly better because of him.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 30th at 3:00pm at McDonald & Son's Funeral Home in Cumming, GA.
