Joseph “Brad” Braden Dewberry

Joseph Braden Dewberry, 53, of Gainesville, GA passed away May 21, 2022. Mr. Dewberry was born January 9, 1969, in Atlanta, the son of Betty Dewberry and the late Joseph B. Dewberry, Jr.

Brad graduated from Riverwood High School in Sandy Springs and then worked with his uncle's company, Guthrie Construction and with his father's company, Cornerstone and Associates. Later he formed his own company working with families and businesses across north Georgia. He loved to travel with his family, camping, hiking and exploring, where his dogs: Emma and Rosco were always close companions. Brad was a friend to many, and his laughter and friendship will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Cristiane; sons Preston Walker Sykes and Cameron Waits Sykes; Stepdaughters Mariana Queiroz and husband Thiago, Maria Paula Queiroz. Mother, Betty Dewberry; Sisters Laura D. Surace and husband Jeff, and Carolyn D. Roberts and husband Joel; Uncles, Howard Waits Guthrie and wife Diana, Donald Alan Dewberry and wife Susan. Nieces Grace Roberts, Ansley Roberts, Merabelle Surace, a nephew Michael Roberts; and many cousins.

Service is planned for Thursday, June 2, 2022, 11:00 am, McDonald and Sons Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Rev. Bryan Pillsbury officiating. Contributions may be made to Wears Valley Ranch, 100 One Fine Place, Sevierville, TN 37862.
