John "Danny" Prince

John Daniel Prince, affectionately known as Danny, passed away on July 30, 2024.

Danny was preceded in death by both parents, William and Mary Carter. He is survived by his loving daughter, Riley Prince. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Danny will be remembered for many things. Riley has fond memories of hanging out in his truck and singing songs that they both cherished. He was known as the fun Dad and Uncle, letting the kids do such things as climbing on the roof of the storage building at their home and running through the woods finding treasures. He was the rescuer of every injured or abandoned creature and would bring them home, usually to the scare of Riley's late mother, Stacy.

He was a talented craftsman, both in his career in the construction industry and his hobbies, including his love to craft walking sticks. He was the master of witty dad jokes and had a love of cooking and motorcycles. Danny’s most endearing attribute was his love of helping others. His life touched many and will leave an absence of all who were blessed to know him.

A visitation to honor and celebrate his life will be held at McDonald and Son Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8th from 3:00PM - 7:00PM. To honor Danny’s favorite color, we ask that visitors wear a shade of blue.

Flowers are appreciated but donations are preferred and can be made to the Neighborhood Cooperative Ministry (Norcross) in Memory of Danny Prince.
