John William Mitchell

John William Mitchell 73, of Suwanee, GA died April 28th, 2015. Born in Louisville, KY he was the son of Walter and Minnie Mitchell. His brother, Walter also predeceased him John served in the US Army and was a lecturer at North Georgia University. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Jane Mitchell of Suwanee, GA; children, Jay Mitchell of Dunwoody, GA, Lindsay Jane (Brandon) Pilero of Smyrna, GA, Andrew Walter Mitchell of Brookhaven, GA and Christy Rose Mitchell of Suwanee, GA; brother, Thomas "Tom" Mitchell of WA; and grandson, John Christopher Piliero. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 3rd, 2015 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home from 1-5pm. Funeral services will be at 12pm on Monday May 4th, 2015 in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at 2:30pm on Monday, following the funeral service.
