John Allen Briggs

May 23, 1939 - March 14, 2022

John Allen Briggs age 82, of Cumming Georgia, on Wednesday March 14th at 8:15 pm passed away, with his friends Lori and Phil Morgan by his side.

John was born in East Greenwich Rhode Island to the late Esther (Howard) Briggs & Edward Briggs. He was also predeceased by his brother Robert Briggs.

John (also known as Uncle Jack to his family) was also survived by his niece Christine K. Brennan and her children Erin (Brennan) Dent & Nathan Brennan; Jennifer Lynn Lander, her husband Craig and their children Grayson & Ryker Lander and his nephew Jason Briggs.

John enjoyed a life of love and laughter with his friends. After serving in the military; stationed in Japan, he took up scuba diving and then later joined a group of Civil War reenactors and became a "southerner" performing many battles with his friends. He moved to Cumming Ga to be close to his friends (his extended family) and enjoy a little less snow.

As per his request, there will be no service. John's ashes will be spread by his close friend Lori Morgan.
