Joann Palmer

With heavy hearts we mourn the passing of Joann (Jody) Palmer. Mrs. Palmer, 89, widow of Zelbert (Zeb) Palmer, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the home of her daughter, Pamela Burns and son-in-law, Roy Burns.
Mrs. Palmer was the daughter of the late Clyde and Archie Satterfield of Clermont, Georgia.
Mrs. Palmer is survived by her three children, Pamela (Roy) Burns, Cindy Palmer, and Gary (Lorie) Palmer; her brother, Jackie (Tess) Satterfield ; grandchildren, Ryan (Erin Hopper) Burns, Brandi Palmer, Haley Burns, Shelby (Griffin) Moore and Chealsea (David) Schroeder; and four great-grandchildren, Emma and Eli Burns, Emerson and Mason Schroeder.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Vernon (Patsy) Satterfield and Verle (Fannie Ruth) Satterfield.
Joann (Jody) and her late husband, spent most of their married life living in many southern states, including Winchester, Kentucky. Prior to her coming back to her daughter's home in Winchester, Kentucky, she and Zeb resided in Swiss Colony, Sautee, Georgia.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Hospice East, and Kimberly Privett, Winchester, Kentucky for their support and loving care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Cleveland Funeral Home, Alexander Chapel, Cleveland, Georgia.
