JoAnn Darnell

JoAnn (Neeb) Darnell of Alpharetta, GA, formerly of Gadsden, AL and Belton, TX, died February 16, 2010. She was born October 1, 1926 to the late Raymond and Dona Neeb of Cross Plains, TX. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Darnell II. JoAnn enjoyed fishing, golfing, Dominoes, Mah Jongg and claimed she had never lost a game of Chinese checkers. She wore out hundreds of pairs of shoes shopping at the mall, which justified her collection of over 200 pairr. She is survived by her daughter, Charlsey Duffy, of Alpharetta, GA; sons, Joedd Darnell of Gadsden, AL, Charles Trippy Darnell of San Antonio, TX and Roman Darnell of Austin, TX; and brother, Paul Neeb, of Cross Plains, TX. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 pm ET on Saturday, February 20, 2010 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
