Jim Metcalf

Lawrence Jackson Jim Metcalf, 80, of Alpharetta, GA died on January 13, 2010 at Embracing Hospice House. Born in Banks County, GA, he was the son of the late Garnett and Zeldia Metcalf. His son, Donald Jim Metcalf and daughter, Sally Ann Metcalf, also predeceased him. Jim is survived by his wife, Judy Metcalf of Alpharetta, GA; sisters, Ruby Marlow of Commerce, GA and Emmie Ruth Ledbetter of Winder, GA; brother, Larry Metcalf of Monroe, GA; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 15, 2010 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Warsaw Cemetery in Johns Creek, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 4:00 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
