Jim Lambert

James Lambert Sr. (Jim) age 79, beloved brother, husband, father and grandfather, of Cumming, Georgia passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 14, 2020, surrounded by family and friends. He was a graduate of Holyoke High School (MA), humbly served with pride in the United States Air Force, received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Western New England College and a Master's Degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He sold steam turbines to the power plant industry. Jim was a member of the Grace Chapel Church of Christ. Jim loved golf and was a golf ranger at Laurel Springs Golf Club. He is survived by his wife, Carol, of 57 years. Children: Dr. James (Jay) and Michele Lambert Jr. of Saline, Michigan; Andrea and Todd Baker, of Cumming, Georgia; Dr. Christopher and Dana Lambert, of Saraland, Alabama. Siblings: Lawrence Lambert, of The Villages, Florida; John and Susan Lambert, of Fletcher, North Carolina; Rebecca Norvell, of Moscow, Idaho. Grandchildren: Zachary, Justin and his wife Megan, David, Jackson, James, Michael and Elizabeth Lambert. Also Katie, Drew, and Will Baker. Jordan Loudermilk and Sarah Hoffman. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11AM, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Grace Chapel Church of Christ.
