Jeff Thurman

Jeffrey Jeff Eugene Thurman, 53, of Cumming, GA died on April 13, 2010. Born in Rushville, IN he was the son of Jim and Judy Thurman of Hagerstown, IN. Jeff graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School and worked for General Motors for 33 years from Anderson, IN to Albany, GA and to Atlanta, GA where he retired. He was an avid LA Dodgers fan and loved watching Dale Earnhardt race. Jeff especially enjoyed his grandgirls and, most of all, playing basketball with his three sons. In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Vickie Thurman of Cumming, GA; sons, Rodney (Ashley) Thurman of Bloomington, IN, Jeffrey Thurman, II and Kegan Thurman of Cumming, GA; brothers, Jay (Marla) Thurman of Kokomo, IN and Joel (Julie) Thurman of Noblesville, IN; sister, Joni (Bruce) Lee of New Castle, IN; beloved grandgirls, Caylee and Grace Thurman of Bloomington, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, April 16, 2010 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 4:00 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
