Cumming, Georgia
Jeanette Biehl-Wickman of Cumming GA died December 22, 2022, at the
age of 86.
Jeanette was born in Great Fall, MT and lived all over the country over her
wonderful life. She graduated from Gettysburg College in 1958 with a major
in French. She had several careers including teaching French and was
even a travel agent in Atlanta for a time.
Jeanette met Harry Biehl on a blind date while in college and they married
in 1960. They lived in Oregon, Alabama, New Jersey, North Carolina,
Georgia, California and Ohio over the years. They were fortunate to travel
the world and enjoyed boating, golfing, skiing, and had two wonderful
children. Harry died in 2002 of cancer so Jeanette spent time between
four grandkids and friends.
In 2010 Jeanette met Al Wickman at Prince of Peace Church in Alpharetta.
Having lost his wife to cancer also, they were blessed to find each other
and married in 2011. Al and Jeanette had a wonderful busy life together
traveling to see family in Michigan, New York and here in Georgia. Jeanette
was very lucky to find such a kind and supporting husband to enjoy the last
ten years of her life.
A Celebration of Life event will be scheduled at The Lake Church of Lanier
Christian Church at Gainesville Marina at a later date. In lieu of flowers,
please make contributions in memory of Jeanette to the Dementia Society
of America by mail to PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901, or online
www.DementiaSociety.org/donate.
