Janet A. Simmons

Mrs. Janet A. Simmons of Highlands, North Carolina. Mrs. Simmons passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 at Highlands - Cashiers Hospital following a period of declining health.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 8, 2010 from the Circle Hill Cemetery in Angola , Indiana. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 9 PM from the Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, Indiana.
Mrs. Simmons was born on November 16, 1933 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Orville earl Hanneman and Mollie Reigart Hanneman. She attended the Univsersity of Nebraska and Tri State University. She was the owner and operator of Simmons Sno Shack Snowmobiles in Angola for several years and served as a substitute school teacher aas well as a real estate agent. Mrs. Simmons also served on the Lake James Cottage Owners Association as a Board Member.
She is preceded in death by her husband,Robert A. Simmons, sons, Robert A. Simmons and Richard A. Simmons as well as a sister, Sharon Burling
Survivors include her son, William A. Simmons, Angola, Indiana; sisters Susan Williams, Helen, Georgia; Molly A. Lyons, Stockton, MO.
