James Earl Rogers

James Earl Rogers, 60, of Cumming, GA went home to be with his Lord on March 14, 2014. Born in Youngstown, OH, he is preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Knoll Rogers.

He graduated from Lowellville High School in Ohio, and also from Nashville Auto Diesel College. He was a member of Crossroads Christian Church and loved hunting, fishing, auto racing. As a master mechanic he built several high performance vehicles.

James is survived by his son, Jimmy of Pittsburgh, PA; son, Shawn of the Philippines; son, Stevie of Florida; daughter, Erin of Ohio; father, James Harold Rogers of Marietta, GA; sister, Elaine Rogers of West Columbia, SC; 6 grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the McDonald and Son Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
