James Keith Reske

It is with profound sadness that the family of James Keith Reske announces his passing on August 13th, 2022, at the age of 78. He passed peacefully surround by his family.

Jim was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1943 to Harvey and Evelyn Reske. He graduated from Saint Mary's High School in New Baltimore, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan. He was an Eagle Scout and a spirited Michigan fan, always proud to wear his maize and blue! He worked for General Motors for 44 years and retired in 2004. He was married to Marian for 55 years and enjoyed playing golf, traveling to the beach, spending time with his family and cheering on the Wolverines.

Jim will be fondly remembered by his loving wife, Marian, his two daughters, Tracie Nolde (Jeff) of Johns Creek, GA and Kim Mangan (Matt) of Sugar Hill, GA. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren: Camden, Ryan, Connor, Chase, Madison, Aidan, Kennedy and Mackenzie and siblings: Carol Eggleston (Mike), Harvey "Skip" Reske (Joseph), Patty Stuart (Jim) and John Reske. Jim was preceded in death by his son, James Keith Reske Jr., parents Harvey and Evelyn Reske and brother Daniel Reske.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming from 5-8pm. A funeral mass will take place at Saint Monica Catholic Church in Duluth on Wednesday, August 17th at 11am with a luncheon immediately following at The Cottage on Main in Duluth at 12:30pm.
