James Clifford Ramey

James Clifford Ramey, 74, of Cumming, GA, and formerly of Alpharetta, GA passed away on September 8, 2011. Born in Clarkesville, GA he was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Ida Ramey; and son, James David Ramey. Mr. Ramey retired from MeadWestvaco after 37 years of service as a Machine Adjuster. He loved to work, and could fix anything. In the winter months he would split wood for the family s wood burning stove. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn Virginia Long Ramey; son, Danny Lamar (Debbie) Ramey of Dawsonville, GA; brother, Robert Lee Ramey; sister, Cleo Reggin; sister, Dorie Lillian Ramey; sister, Mary Elizabeth Collier; sister, Grace Kenley; sister, Evelyn Costa; sister, Brenda Wade; grandson, Dillon Ramey; and great granddaughter, Jennifer Ramey. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 1:00 3:00 PM at McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming, GA.
