Jaime Robinson

–

Douglasville, Georgia

Jaime Elisabeth Robinson (nee: VanBuren), 45, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, at 3:26 am, wrapped in His everlasting love and peace. Though her earthly journey has ended, her spirit now rests in the presence of God, rejoicing in the fullness of His glory.

Born on December 28th, 1979, in Marietta, Georgia. Jaime lived a life shaped by faith, gentleness, and quiet strength. She walked this world with a heart open to God, offering kindness freely and shining His light in ways both humble and profound. She never failed to put others' needs above her own, offering her heart, strength, and care without hesitation.

Throughout her days, Jamie found joy in her softball years, making a point to attend church, when possible, found comfort and creativity in baking, but her most extraordinary devotion was to the people God placed in her life. She carried a love that reflected Christ, steadfast, forgiving, warm, and shared it generously with family, friends, and all who crossed her path. She welcomed her family’s friends as family, extending her boundless warmth to everyone who walked through her door. Though she walked through life in the shadow of constant pain, she met each day with courage, grace, and a heart wide open. She lived fully, loved deeply, and stood as one of God’s strongest soldiers.

She is cherished beyond measure by her parents, Reed Allan VanBuren (Twila), and Bessie Elizabeth Pittman-Moss, her siblings, Nathan VanBuren (Alicia), Daniel VanBuren, and Jennifer VanBuren (Poohpooh), her children, James Lamar Weston, Jaime Elijah VanBuren, and Dannah Elizabeth Robinson, her grandchildren Aubreannah Ashanti Robinson and Nayeli Armani Weston. She is welcomed into eternity by her brother, Benjamin VanBuren and Stepmother Linda VanBuren. Though we will miss her voice and presence, we rest in the blessed assurance that she now dwells in God’s perfect peace, embraced by a love that never fades.

A service celebrating her life and faith will be held on December 9th, 2025, at 11 am at McDonald & Son Funeral Home, where we will give thanks for the gift of her presence in our lives, the love that will continue to blossom from her, and for the hope we have in Christ.

We will forever honor the spirit of compassion and grace that Jaime carried each day.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.” (Matthew 25:21)

“Lost but will be found, gone but never forgotten.”
