Jacky Brown

We are gathered here today to remember and celebrate the life of a truly compassionate, loving, and generous individual, Jacky Lamar Brown. Jacky was born in Georgia on the 28th of June, 1958 and lived most of his life in Cumming, Georgia. He was a man who exuded warmth, kindness and a rare spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jacky was a fiercely independent soul who lived life on his own terms. He was never married, but his love extended to all around him, making friends feel like family and strangers feel like friends. His generosity was palpable - he would give his last penny to someone in need without a second thought. Jacky's compassion was a beacon, lighting up the lives of those fortunate enough to cross his path.

His radiant spirit was a testament to his parents, William and Grace Brown, who preceded him in death. Their teachings and love shaped Jacky into the remarkable man he was. As we bid him farewell, we remember the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Jacky's legacy is not tied to material possessions or professional accomplishments, but to the countless hearts he touched and the lives he transformed with his love and generosity.

Visitation for Jacky will be held at the McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, Georgia, 30040 on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 10:00am EST. A graveside service will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, 1390 Dahlonega Highway, Cumming, Georgia, 30040 at 2:30pm EST.
