Irene Victoria Filkowski

Irene Victoria Filkowski, 94, of Cumming, GA died on January 10, 2010. A native of Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Kowalski. Her beloved husband, Bernard Filkowski also predeceased her. Mrs. Filkowski was a resident of Cumming Nursing Center. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Tom) Moran of Suwanee, GA; grandchildren, Debra Moran of Minneapolis, MN, Richard (Amanda) Moran of Marietta, GA and Robert (Rachelle) Moran of Dallas, GA; and great-granddaughter, Reagan Brianna Moran. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at St. Brendan s Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:00 pm at the church. Interment will follow at a later date at St. Adalbert s Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL.
