H. W. Thompson

H. W. Thompson, 90, of Alpharetta, GA died at his home on March 28, 2011. Born in Old Milton, GA he was the son of the late Clint and Mae Thompson. His beloved wife, Wreathy Thompson, his brother, J. W. Thompson and sister, Elene Thompson also predeceased him. A skilled craftsman, H. W. was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church for 70 years. He will be greatly missed by his family. Mr. Thompson is survived by his children, Larry (Phyllis) Thompson of Forsyth County, GA, Charlotte (Tyrone) Roberts of Dahlonega, GA and Paul (Christine) Thompson of Forsyth, County, GA; brother, Robert (Betty) Thompson of Forsyth, County, GA; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Brookwood Baptist Church. Rev. Donnie Nix, Rev. Ronnie Brown and Rev. Gerald Richards will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 30 from 2:00 4:00 and from 6:00 -- 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
