Greg Edward McCurdy

Greg Edward McCurdy passed away peacefully on June 24, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He fought a six-year battle against stage 4 cancer with courage and grace.

Greg was predeceased by his father, John McCurdy, mother, Louise Fowler McCurdy and brother, Mark McCurdy. Greg is survived by his loving fiance, Julie Hillyer, daughter Whitney Jaros (Nick), son Tyler McCurdy, brothers John McCurdy (Terry), Jeff McCurdy (Teresa) and Jim McCurdy (Audrey) and grandchildren Nolan (Whitney & Nick) and Piper (Tyler Hillyer).

Greg was a good man who never met a stranger. He was funny, kind and smart and loved by everyone who met him. He will forever be remembered for his strength, courage and determination to get better and to help others who were suffering from similar cancers. He loved all of his nurses who cared for him, and they loved him back.

Greg loved spending time having fun with his family and friends, especially his two grandchildren, who are only one and two years old. They adored him.

A celebration of life gathering will be planned at a later date and his ashes will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Milton Fields.
