Gregory Jack Brown, known to those who loved him simply as Greg, was a man whose infectious smile and radiant energy brought warmth to every room he entered. Born on May 31, 1985, in Flint, Michigan, Gregory was a beacon of loyalty, wit, adventure, and love. His love story began with his adoring wife, Melissa, and blossomed into a beautiful family that was the center of his world. His dedication to his family was unparalleled, and they were his rock, just as he was theirs. Today, we celebrate the exceptional life of Gregory, who left us too soon on February 21, 2024, but whose spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched.
Gregory was a man of many talents, with a career in construction management that was as solid as the buildings he helped create. He served as the Vice President of Operations, and his dedication to his profession was evident in the numerous accolades he received, including Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Teaching Instructor of Electrical. Yet, his achievements went beyond his professional life. Gregory was an adventurous soul who relished in the great outdoors, finding joy in hunting, fishing, and golfing. His competitive spirit shone brightest on the golf course, but his heart was happiest in the kitchen, sharing his love for cooking with his family and friends.
Gregory’s life was a testament to the verse from the book of Proverbs in the Bible, "A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones" (Proverbs 17:22). He lived his life with a joyful heart that truly was the best medicine for those around him. His laughter was contagious, his wit was sharp, and his love was boundless. He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa; his parents, Eugene and Kathryn; his children, Madison, Paisley, Sienna, Landon, and Hunter; his sister, Katie and brother-in-law Michael; nephews, Lincoln and Charlie; his in-laws, Linda and John McHugh, brother in law Jay Ende, brother in law Eddie Ende and Nicole Shevak. Gregory's life was a celebration of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that will be cherished forever.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 12:00pm EST at the McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, Georgia, 30040. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 2:00pm EST.
Gregory's life was a symphony of love and laughter that will echo in our hearts forever. We invite you to share your cherished memories and pictures of Gregory on his memorial page, so we may all remember the joy he brought into our lives.
