Grace (Blake) Lord

Vera "Grace" Lord, age 90, of Cumming, Georgia passed away peacefully Sunday, August 21st, 2022.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 24th from 3 to 6PM, Thursday, August 25th from 12PM till the service at 1PM in the Chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia.

Mrs. Lord was a longtime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia, and retired from Loveable Co., after 30 years of service. Grace was preceded in death by her brother Forrest Blake; sisters Mildred Jameson and Katherine Coleman; son Mike Lord; and husband of 69 years Marvin Lord. She is survived grandson Jason Lord and his wife Sarah Lord of Cumming, Georgia; great grandson Jackson Lord; great granddaughters Addison Lord and a baby girl due in November; and sister Betty Womack; also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
