Gloria Przelenski

Gloria J. ( Sis) Przelenski born November 11, 1947 in Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away August 23, 2024 at her sister’s home in Dahlonega Georgia, after bravely battling cancer for 4 years. She was preceded in death by her father William Przelenski and her mother Violet Wise. She was cared for extensively during the last 3 year battle by her sister Charlynn. After graduating high school, she went on to become an LPN. While working she continued her schooling and obtained her master’s degree in nursing, working all areas of the nursing field.

She was a seasoned traveler. She traveled all over the world, where she would immerse herself into the many cultures she encountered; as well as teaching English as a second language in many of these countries.

She had a deep love of animals, rescuing many older pets in need of medical care.

Gloria leaves behind numerous friends and family who will miss her quick and quiet sense of humor, the twinkle in her eyes, and her firm love of life on this Earth. She was an excellent medical professional, sister, friend, and a force of nature.

Surviving family includes a brother William Lawrence Przelenski, Jr., two sisters Deborah (Jay) Przelenski Crowe, Charlynn Przelenski Leshuk. Many nieces and nephews. There will be a private Memorial service at home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Animal Shelter of your choice
