Gerhard Priese Obituary (1938 - 2021)

Gerhard Priese 83 was called home to his Lord and Savior on December 14, 2021. He was born on March 27, 1938 in Breslau Germany. In 1944 at the age of seven he along with his older Brother (Klaus) and Sister (Jutta) became refugees and fled Germany. Gerhard eventually came to America where he would later serve as a Paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division as an Infantryman. He then became a carpenter and home repair specialist. Gerhard was a kind and giving person who made friends wherever he went. He was quite a prankster and had a very active sense of humor. Gerhard loved to work in his garden and he loved Jesus. Gerhard is survived by his sister Jutta Kirkover, niece Diana (Kirkover) Metzger and nephew Herbert Kirkover. He was preceded by his parents Gerhard Priese Sr. and Charlotte (Tilgner) Priese and older brother Klause Priese.
