George E.Tention Jr.

Pastor George Edward Tention Jr., passed away January 2nd, 2024, at the age of 51.

“Tenny” as he was affectionately known as, was born on April 4th, 1972 in New York City. To George E. Tention Sr. who preceded him in death and Margaret Bryant Tention.

He was a graduate of the State University of New York at Farmingdale, majoring in Criminal Justice. In 2014, he retired from New York State Police, Troop L. Prior to that time, he was committed to Preaching & Teaching the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2012 Grace To You Ministries was founded in Coram, NY. Although he and his family had relocated to Cumming, Georgia in 2020. His Church and Ministry continued via ZOOM & his membership continued to grow.

Tenny married the love of his life Rachael Salfali on August 6th, 1994. To this beautiful union 4 children were born. Devin Joseph who preceded him to death, David Alexander, Leah Mariah and Sarah Hope. He also leaves to mourn his death and cherish his memories. His big sister Debra Denise and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at McDonald and Son Funeral Home on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 from 11:00am-12:00pm.

Funeral services will also be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at 12:00pm in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
