Gardner Foskett

Mr. Gardner Shepard Foskett, Jr., age 73 of Dahlonega passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Dunedin, Florida, Mr. Foskett was the son of Gardner Shepard Foskett, Sr. and Dorothy Runyan Foskett. He was a United States Army Veteran and was retired from SKF Bearings. He is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home, and children, James Foskett of Cumming and Dawn Foskett-Robinson of Alpharetta. Mr. Foskett is also survived by sisters, Sallee Perry of St. Petersburg, Florida and Katharine Rosensteel of Newport News, Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Monday, October 20, 2014 in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Colladay officiating. The family will receive friends Monday beginning at 4:00 P.M. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Foskett s honor to a charity of choice.
