Floyd Alois Collins

Floyd Alois Collins, 62, of Suwanee, GA (and a long time resident of Columbus, GA) died on November 14, 2010. Born in Trieste, Italy, he was the son of the late James and Olga Collins. A US Army veteran, he served in Vietnam. He was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing and tennis and for many years, he excelled as a bodybuilder. Floyd was also able to fix or build just about anything. He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Linda Collins of Suwanee, GA; stepson, Rick Dunn of Tuscaloosa, AL; siblings, Netti and John Collins; and step-grandchildren, Nick and Ashley. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 19, 2010 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
