Fannie "Lois" Gibson Stutzman

Fannie Lois Gibson Stutzman July 19, 1928 to October 31, 2011. Born in Lumpkin County, Georgia and died in Gainesville, Georgia. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church of Dahlonega. She was the oldest daughter of the late James Raleigh and Mattie Gibson of Dahlonega. She is pre-deceased by her brother James Ernest Gibson and her sister Bertie Mae Gibson Cain, and survived by her brothers Dorsey Herman Gibson, Robert Columbus Gibson, Roy Lee Gibson and Grady Stanley Gibson. Mrs. Stutzman is also pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Robert Jacob Stutzman, with whom she had two daughters, Diane Horner of Gainesville, GA and Merri Beth Stephens of Roswell, GA She was also blessed to co-parent two step children, Bruce Stutzman of Pittsburgh, PA and Beverly Bailey of Lawrenceville, GA. Grandchildren include: Jeremy Horner, Torie Reinsel, Chris Bailey, Robin Traeger, Eric Stutzman, Bret Stutzman, Jared Stutzman and Andrew Stutzman, and one foster grandchild, Della Dilley. Great grandchildren include: Amelia Traeger, Kyla Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Cooper Stutzman, Nora Sue Stutzman, and soon to be Logan Reinsel. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews, cousins, & loving friends. The funeral will be held at the Dahlonega Funeral Home on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation on Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00 pm and Thursday from 11:00-1:00. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Hospice Center.
