Eugene Hunter Jr. was a devoted Husband, Father, Son, Brother, uncle, and mentor but out of most of the names you could call him, child of God was the most important. Eugene Hunter Jr. was a great man who would put his family first in everything that he did. He was a hard worker who would strive to overcome challenges. A self-taught saxophonist, that started in 1974 teaching himself to play saxophone and completed his first solo project in 1996. He has played around the metro Atlanta area for the past 17 years. He also has participated

with bands throughout the area, as well as over the country. He first started in the church which was his first foundation and moved onto doing jazz, R&B and gospel music. He always hoped to use his music to move and relax his audience and most of all, He hoped it gave a sense of joy and peace as you listened to it. Although he accomplished many things throughout his life, spending time with his son Justin and seeing him grow gave him the greatest joy!
