Cumming, Georgia
Ersa Warren Kelley Jr. was born in Waco, TX, on August 22, 1952, and left this world on June 12, 2024. Living in Cumming, Georgia at the time of his passing, Ersa was the epitome of adventurous, never one to shy away from a new experience or a daring endeavor. A reliable man of action, he served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force, earning many medals and awards before retiring in 1994.
Ersa was a man of many talents, but his most significant achievement was wooing and winning the heart of his "babygirl," his wife Sukie. For 47 years, his generous love for her was all encompassing. He was known for his larger-than-life personality and his ability to sing at the top of his lungs without a care in the world. Ersa was a man who lived life at full volume, and we all enjoyed the concert.
Ersa is survived by his wife, Sukie Kelley, his daughter, Angela Hatcher, his son, Yongil Lee (and his wife, Haim), grandchildren Jinsil, Jinhyuk, and Audrey. Others who loved Ersa were a multitude of sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Ersa Sr., his mother, Mary Kelley, and his beloved sister, Janie Joiner. His witty spirit, infectious laughter, and heart of gold will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family whose lives Ersa touched, are invited to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page. Whether it's a story about his adventurous escapades, a testament to his reliable nature, or a joke he told that still brings a smile to your face, we invite you to share the joy and laughter Ersa brought into our lives. There's no doubt he's somewhere out there, singing at the top of his lungs, and we can almost hear the chorus.
