Emma May Allen Pacella

Emma May Allen Pacella, 83, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday, June 28, 2011, with her family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a graduate of Columbia University. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lauri Ann Pacella; brothers, Harley, Damon, and Wesley Allen. She is survived by her husband, Michael Joseph Pacella of Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Lisa Pacella of Dahlonega, GA: sister, Eva Nourse of Evansville, IN; brother, Dr. Charles E. Allen of Erwin, TN; grandchildren, Anna, Matt and Sarah. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Jim Dwiggins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
