Elvira Reynoso

Elvira (Vera) Reynoso, age 94, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving children.

Born in Los Angeles, California on September 19, 1930, to Jesus Rodriquez and Adeline Garcia. She resided in Paso Robles, California for 22 years before moving to Duluth, Georgia in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Reynoso. She was an only child and was raised by her maternal grandmother.

Elvira is survived by her two children: Sylvia Reynoso Romero and Carlos Reynoso, daughter in-law Yolanda Reynoso.

Also surviving are her five grandchildren (Bob, Stephen and David Cantu, Vanessa Reynoso Clark, and Bella Reynoso) and great-grandchildren (Elena and Olivia Cantu and Poppy Ly Cantu and Ruby Ly Cantu).

Elvira worked in the retail clothing industry and then operated a mom & pop grocery store with her cousin. She enjoyed playing cards (Bingo, Rummikue), exercising, and working crossword puzzles and eating at Steak n Shake.

Funeral mass at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 11045 Parsons Road, Johns Creek, Georgia 30097, Friday June 20, 2025, 10:30am (live streamed).
