Ellen Faye (Sexton) Moran

Ms. Ellen Faye Moran, 81, of Cumming, GA was called home to the Lord on the morning of Friday, January 14, 2022. Faye was raised in Farmington Hills, Michigan, and moved to Northern VA when she was 18. She worked for the Federal Government for over 30 years and became a part-time Realtor in 1986. She retired in 1995 from the Government and followed her children to Georgia in 1998. Faye loved spending time with her family and good friends. She loved reading, sitting outdoors on her swing, and gardening. She was known by all as a kind, giving, and compassionate person, who loved her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents (Ballard and Eunice Sexton). She is survived by her children Todd Moran (Jennifer) and Lisa Sullivan, her grandchildren Allison Sullivan, Jack Sullivan, Ashley Moran, and Hannah Moran, her brothers Rick Sexton, Lon Sexton, sister Charlotte Miller and a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Her memorial service will be held on February 5, 2022, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. at McDonald and Sons Funeral Home located at 150 Sawnee Drive Cumming GA 30040. A lunch reception will follow the service information will be provided shortly.

In lieu of flowers, we have set a memorial scholarship fund for high school seniors who will attend nursing school.
