Elizabeth Ortiz, a beloved mother to Ruben & wife Melaney, Chris & wife Drea and Sabrina, loving sister to John, Rachel & husband Vincent and Peter, grandmother to Cloe, Ollie, Freya, Emmy, Brad, Brooke, Addy Rose, Xander and Gatsby, friend and cherished “Titi” to many, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by, her mother Raquel Perez and her loving sister Olga(Negrie) Ortiz.
Her life was defined by her unwavering devotion to her faith and God’s love with everyone she met. She was a pillar of strength and compassion, embodying His grace and humility. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she shared that faith through her actions, prayers, and guidance to everyone around her.
Liz was a woman of boundless warmth and compassion, always putting her family at the center of her life. She was a proud, stubborn and nurturing mother, whose unwavering support and guidance shaped her children into the people they are today.
Being a grandmother was her greatest joy. Her love for her grandchildren was endless, creating memories filled with laughter, inappropriate jokes, and care. Her role as “Titi” was one of deep affection, and she became a second mother to her nieces and nephews, love at every turn. She often spoiled her nieces and nephews to the point of revoked babysitting privileges.
As a big sister, she gave unconditional love, was there to listen, offered support and a shoulder to lean on. Gave advice, even when they didn’t want to hear it and was a mediator when her siblings got out of hand. Always instilling the importance of family being together.
Liz’s family takes comfort in knowing that she is now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, rejoicing in eternal peace. Along side her mother and sister. Her legacy will live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her. Her kindness, humility, and strength will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
