Edna Young

Mrs. Edna Young, 82 of Dawsonville departed this life Monday December 29, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. Edna loved to play Bingo, put puzzles together, spend time with her family, playing with children even those not related to her, she absolutely loved children, aside from her love for family and friends, Edna especially loved Elvis Pressley. Edna will be missed by all who knew her and the lasting impression she left on many people will always be a cherished memory.

Edna is preceded in death by her Husband, Charles Young, daughter, Ronda Cochran, grandson, Zackary Marshall, sisters, Brenda, Dolly and Anne.

Survivors include children, Lewis Young, (Jenny), Robin Young, Ronald Young, Jason Young (Lisa), siblings, Bill, Mike and Jim. Sister, Pam, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Edna Young will be Sunday January 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 AM until time of Service. Online condolence can be left at www.mcdonaldandson.com
