Edith Lucy Dolan

Edith Lucy Dohrenwend Murphy Dolan, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away December 11, 2016 peacefully at home.

Born December 30, 1931 to the late Thelma and William "Bull" Dohrenwend, she was a lifelong resident of New York prior to moving to Gainesville with her daughter last year.

Edith was the mother of 10 children, six boys and four girls. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward and John; her sons, Sean and Mark; granddaughter Alexis; and brother George. Surviving are her children, Dennis and Carolyn Murphy, Harald and Karin (Murphy) Spiekerman, Alexander and Barbara (Murphy) Gorlesky, Terrence Murphy, Thomas Dolan, John and Vivian Dolan, Peter and Patricia (Dolan) Kowalewski and Frank and Christine (Dolan) Conroy; grandchildren Erin, Dawn, Matthew, Christian, Alex, Michael, Billy, John, Ashley, Gabryelle, Christine, Peter, Kathryn-Ann, Sarah, Natalie, Olivia, a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
