Edgar Eddington

Mr. Edgar Herbert Eddington of Cleveland passed away after a brief illness, on December 14, 2019. He was 79 years old.

Mr. Eddington was an independent business owner and sub-contractor, and served his country in the United States Army. He dearly loved his family, spending time with them, fishing, hunting, and going to special events with his great-grandchildren, who liked to call him "Papaw" and "Bobot". He was also a big fan of western movies and TV Shows, and especially, John Wayne.

Edgar is survived by his loving wife of 57-years, Sudailya, his daughter Tammy Duvall, his sons Jody Eddington and Eddie (Sherri) Eddington, his grandchildren: Dustin Duvall (Keisha), Latisha Mayse (Justin), and Nikki McCullough, his great-grandchildren: Nathan Duvall, Taylor, Faith, Mackenzie, Christina, Jamison, Holly, Lily, and Maci, as well as siblings: Jessie, Brenda, Roger and Donnie, and many nieces, nephews and good friends.

A visitation for Mr. Eddington will be held on Saturday December 21st from 12:00-1:00pm at the Dahlonega Funeral Home with services, and Military Honors, following in the Chapel, at 1:00pm.He will be interred at Georgia National Cemetery, during a private service, on January 3, 2020.
