HURENE (DUSTY) WESTMORELAND BORN: 9/18/1923 Electra, TX. DIED: 4/10/2019 Cumming, GA. Dusty Westmoreland, 95, died quietly in Cumming, GA., after a short illness.

Mom to Dee, Sue and Ted, and wife to the late Westy Westmoreland; formerly of Lindsay, TX.

She was the last existing member of the Ira and Zoe Smart family, including 3 brothers and 2 sisters; formerly of Altamont, TN.

She is survived by daughter and son in law, Dee and Charlie Adams of Polson, MT., daughter and son in law Sue and Ron Hubbard of Cumming, GA., and Son and Daughter in law Ted and Judy Westmoreland of Cooke County, TX. Scores of grand, great and great great grand children called her "Granny".

A multitude of relatives and others called her "friend". She was our nurturer, teacher, advisor and an avid pet lover. She was a gentle spirit who taught tolerance and respect, and we will strive to honor her memory every day.

Memorials and other remembrances are pending. It was my Mom's wish that in lieu of offerings of respect, please consider donating to your local ASPCA.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
