Duane Lester Loggins

Mr. Duane Loggins, age 80 of Lula. Mr. Loggins passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 8, 2011 from Skitts Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Savage officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Loggins was born in Hall County on May 28, 1931 to the late Clarence Loggins and Vinnie Savage Loggins. He was a farmer and longtime member of Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. Mr. Loggins is preceded in death by his brother, Denver Cotton Loggins, sister Lovella Loggins and granddaughter Sasha Loggins

Survivors include his wife Altha Loggins, Lula, sons and daughters in law, Dale and Gloria Loggins, Cleveland; Donny and Donna Loggins, Lula; daughter and son in law, Diane and Clayton Irvin, Cleveland; brother, Delamr Loggins, Lula; sister, Julie Ingram, Ball Ground; grandchildren and spouses Dustin and Brittney Loggins, Shantae and Kris Lewis, Samantha and Justin Hughes, Jessica and Brandon McDougal, Judy and Jonathan Rogers,, grandchildren, Brittany Loggins, Kielea Loggins, Kathryn Loggins, Jennifer Irvin ; great granddaughter, Ginger Lewis, great grandson Devin "Hank" McDougal.
