Duane Warren Hunter

Duane Warren Hunter Sr. of Cumming, Georgia died Saturday March 19th, 2022 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Anne of 59 years his 3 sons Gerry (Lisa), Eric (Michele), Duane Jr. (Andrea) and his 6 Grandchildren Meagan, Madison, Lauren, Trey, Samantha and Morgan.

Duane moved to Georgia in 1976 and was a very successful businessman until he retired in 2003. Duane was also very involved in the Georgia Republican party serving on the Executive Committee for many years. Duane's lifelong passion was for singing. He was a long-time member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church choir, as well as The North Georgia Barbershop Chorus.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Duane's honor to St Jude's Children Hospital.

The funeral will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Friday April 1st at 1:00 PM . Good Shepherd will live stream the funeral on their website.
