Dorothy Louise Taylor
January 1, 1927 – January 31, 2025

Dorothy Louise Taylor, lovingly known as Dot, was born on January 1, 1927, to Nona Mendoza and John T. Walls. She spent her childhood in the Roswell and Alpharetta areas, creating cherished memories that shaped her kind and spirited nature.

After graduating high school, Dot began her career at Sears & Roebuck on Ponce de Leon in Atlanta. She later married Rev. Edd Taylor, with whom she shared a beautiful life until his passing in 1995.

Dot’s greatest joy was her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Edd Taylor; her son, Eddie Taylor; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Taylor; and her grandson, Landon Taylor. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Dwight Taylor; her granddaughters, Kendra and Seneca Taylor; and her daughter-in-law Melody Lidvall.

Dot was a woman of unwavering faith, a caring heart, and a feisty spirit. She was loving, funny, loyal, and always faithful. While we mourn her passing, we celebrate her homecoming, knowing she is rejoicing in a heavenly reunion like no other.

What a wonderful life, well lived and well loved.
