Doris Glenda (Bagby) Samples

Doris Samples 78 lifelong resident of Cumming, Georgia passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27th, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Doris was a graduate of Forsyth County High School. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She retired after a long career from Wachovia (Wells Fargo) Bank.

She was born on March 26, 1944 to the late Albert and Loyce Bagby. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Fowler.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Roger Samples. Her daughter Robin (Randy) Smith, son Timothy (Deina) Samples, and son Scott Samples. Grandchildren Andrew Smith, Ethan and Morgan Samples. Her brother Royston (Frankie) Bagby, and sister Margaret (Doug) Daniel, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 30th, 2022 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Carnes officiating.

Graveside services will be on Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 at 11:00am at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, Georgia.
