Donald Henry McGuinness

Donald Henry McGuinness, 57, of Cumming, GA died on August 11, 2012. Born in Englewood, NJ he was the son of the late Harold and Florence McGuinness. Don grew up in Ft. Lee, NJ and moved to Georgia in 1992 and loved the South, but never forgot his New Jersey roots. He was a loving father and great friend to all who knew him. No one who met Don forgot him -- he always lit up the room. After spending time with him, everyone felt a little happier. He is survived by his wife, Victoria McGuinness of Cumming, GA; children, Adam and Brigit McGuinness of Cumming, GA; brother, Robert (Joan) McGuinness of Manasquan, NJ; and nephew and niece, Sean and Kelly McGuinness of Manasquan, NJ. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 5:00 9:00 pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 17 at The Church of the Madonna in Fort Lee, NJ. Interment will follow at the Madonna Cemetery and Mausoleum also in Fort Lee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be mailed to St. Jude Children s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
