Donald Abercrombie

Donald Myron Abercrombie age 38, passed from this life May 15, 2024.

“Donnie” as he was affectionately known was born the 25th day of July, 1985 in Covington, Ga. preceded in death by father William Abercrombie. Donnie was survived by his daughter Tessa Abercrombie, mother Darlene Junkin, brothers Chris and (twin) Tommy Abercrombie, sister Tara Wood, step father Bill Junkin, Brother in law Ben Wood, Sister in law Emily Peterson, Uncle Robert Abercrombie and many more family and countless friends.

To know Donnie was to love him. He was always looking for a way to make you laugh and to brighten your day. He was very outspoken and never shy. There was never a question as to what was on his mind and never hesitated to share his point of view. He lived a life marked by caring for the underdog and helping the helpless. He was a true friend in time of need and never hesitated to help those around him. Donnie was very creative and enjoyed expressing himself through writing stories and composing poetry. To say he was a poet and didn't know it was a understatement. The legacy of Donnie Abercrombie will be hidden in each one of our hearts forever.

There will be no public funeral. However, there will be a “celebration of his life” to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers it is requested that a donation be made in Donnie’s memory to the charity of your choice.
