Dolores (Smith) Willard

Dolores Smith Willard was born March 29, 1925 southeast of Yuba Oklahoma, known as the Hackbury Community. She passed away September 23, 2021 at the age of 96.

She is the daughter of Augustus and Nodie Parker Smith. She was a graduate of Yuba School and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She was married to David W. Willard in 1946. They had 2 daughters, Deborah and Denise.

She leaves behind one daughter, Denise Williams (Danny), two grandchildren, Melissa Henderson (Eric), and Chris Williams, three great grandchildren, Landon Williams, Collins and Nash Henderson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband David, daughter Deborah Jacobs and two grandchildren, Joel Jacobs and Ruth Genevieve, three brothers, A J Smith, Leo Smith, Lindy Smith and two sisters, Oleta Dobbins and Thelma Campbell.

Graveside services will be held at Highland Cemetery, Durant Oklahoma at 2pm on Sept 30th by Murray Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association, American Cancer Association, or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
